Camel Rock
Sedimentary rock layers 30 miles southwest of Laramie. Rocks below the camel are the Fountain Formation (an ancient alluvial fan) and the camel itself is the Casper Formation. These are Pennsylvanian/Permian in age (approx. 250 million yrs old).
